The Leviathan
To the eye of the Leviathan, every world is a jewel set in the spacious vault of eternity. Like the Greek monster of old the great god swims through the universe, tending to the life of each and every star. To some he breathes in new life, to others he blows out the guttering flame. He is the lamplighter, the light keeper: he exists to tend the stars and what warmth they give to the black. The worlds that cluster close to some of his charges fascinate him, but he has a job to do and so must pass them by in favor of doing his endless work.
